December sees the publication by Coptic Cat of ‘ALEPH ON DOCETIC MOUNTAIN’, David Tibet's text for ALEPH AT HALLUCINATORY MOUNTAIN, in a high-quality, hardback book bound in Arebelave Buckram with blocking to front and spine and with full colour printed endpapers and a book ribbon. This beautiful 64 page hardback book, dedicated to our Cat Goblin, is limited to 333 copies and also comes with a CD featuring the original, previously unreleased, version of the 20 minute piece ‘ADAM AT DOCETIC MOUNTAIN’, with voice by David Tibet, electronics by Andrew Liles and drums/percussion by Alex Neilson, the final version of which appeared on side 4 of the 2LP vinyl version of ‘Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain’. The remaining tracks on the CD, which lasts approximately 60 minutes, are recordings of the first time C93 played material from ALEPH AT HALLUCINATORY MOUNTAIN live, at the 2 nights’ soundcheck for their shows in Santiago, Spain in May 2009. These tracks will not be released in CD form elsewhere.
The book costs £32 plus postage and packing and is available now.
